V-Link is not ready for service yet. They are just settings things up for when.
V-Link is going to be a dongle aka a hub that will connect to back of Viewsat receivers serial port to allow a internet connection. The V-Link loader will be used to update the V-Link dongle/hub.It is said that V-link will use a public server which means to use will be free except for buying the V-Link.I hear that cost will be around 80 to 105 dollars. To tell you more if you want your receiver to work again it looks like IKS via the internet is the only way.V-Link is not associated with Viewsat from what I read. They are going to support Viewsat receivers and not sure which.
