Try this and let us know if it worked:

1) Do a Factory Set (Reset) 2 times just to clear any code in the processor.

2) Download and unzip the Coolsat Receiver File designed to work with the R-link.

3) Then use the Coolsat Pro Loader v2.4 to load that unzipped file onto the receiver.

4) Go ahead connect up your receiver to your TV set and setup your satellite setting.

Setup the first satellite and Auto Scan it. Then setup the next satellite and Auto Scan it.

Note: You seem to get better results and scans when you do it this way...

5) Now connect the R-Link to your computer using the R-Link cable with the blue colored ends.

6) Update the R-Link using this Coolsat R-Link (R10) Patch Loader v100.

7) Connect the R-Link to the Coolsat Receiver using the all black cross over cable that came with the R-link.

8) Hook up the Ethernet cable coming from your Router/Modem.

9) Plug the R-Link power supply into an electric outlet and power up the R-link
.
Note: The R-Links Status Light should turn Green when it connects to the server.

10) Turn on the receiver and watch TV
