hunter you can always try turning receiver off from back switch for about a minute and then back on again and see if that helps, if not, try a factory default and set up birds again and rescan channels and see if that fixes the freezing. I have not looked closely yet to see if there are any reports out yet as to freezing problems with the 7100pvr coolsat, so for now I would try the above in the order I put down and go from there, if you are still having problems, let us know
