SharkieG that is true about TV stations that most of them brodcast in 1080i for now, even some games ( Blu-ray games still come in 720p ). But for the money difference between 1080p and 1080i i would get 1080p any day. There is nothing better then watching a Blu-ray DVD in full HD or playing vids in full Hi-Def 1080p. Definitely worth that extra few bucks.
