Cool

I wasn't trying to talk any one out of buying 1080p. I own 2 1080p TVs. I think the only 1080i TVs are projection screen. Had one of those ... until the light engine burnt out. Unfortunately, it would cost almost as much to replace the part as buy a new TV. So I bought a 1080p Samsung Plasma. You can get good deals now as the prices are dropping. The big deal now is the processors - 60hz, 120hz, and now 240hz. Wow can we really see the difference? Maybe between the 60hz and 240hz ....
Members also be advised there are real good deals on the smaller 720p TVs.
As far as gaming, yeah you can get almost life like images with a 1080p TV @ 120Hz.
