The .bin file updates the data for the DN Full Name function that can be enabled in the Menu->System Setting->System menu. This allows you to see full names of channels in the channel list, Old EPG, and on-screen info instead of the short names or "PROG XXX" that you usually get.Load the same as you would a .bin file.
