I re-scanned Sats 119, 110 & 129 all on port 1. The Port1 cable on the LNB is going to the living room and the port2 cable is going to the bedroom. I have the DP 1000.2 dish. I now have 3 of each channel numbers (102,102,102 103,103,103 and so on) Is there anyway to clean this up without deleting each extra channel in the Edit menu (Sonicview HD8000). Also, should I scan 119 on port1, 110 on port2 and 129 on port3, or all to port1? Thanks a Million, Doug |

Do I scan each satellite on port 1? Or they each get their own port? Because I have the cable from port1 to the living room and the cable from port2 on the LNB going to the bedroom. Thanks, Doug Last edited by drhf; 11-24-2008 at 09:02 PM. |

After the factory reset, do I scan each satellite (119w, 110w and 129w to port1? Because I have the cable running from the LNB Port1 to the living room and the cable connected to port2 on the LNB running to the bedroom's different receiver. Thanks, Doug |

In the menu, you are going to change the satellite to 110, and change the settings to the same as used for 119 except that we need tp freq to be 12224 and diseqc to be changed to port 2. When you make these changes, hopefully, you will be showing a good s/q reading at the bottom and showing 110 at the top of the screen. If not, you need to loosen the skew bolts (skew only) and slowly move the skew slightly to get the signal peaked out. After doing so, tighten the skew bolts back and make a mark on it so you can find it later if necessary. Still being in the menu, change the sat to 129, same settings except that diseqc now needs to be port 3. You should have good s/q after changing ports and it should be showing 129 at the top of the screen. And than scan each satellite once. Here is a link to some good info about your dish: DishPro 1000.2 & 1000 Description and How to Install
