Thumbs down NANA 2 - why not working - some help please?

any direction here would be most apprecaited.
i got the nano 2, did the firmware upgrade NPN_1.28.NPN
and got few channels, but it keep saying 'scramble'

does this mean i have the wrong file?
Do i need to connect this box to the internet via iSK to make it work?
thank you all nice folks for your reply.

Yes you need to have it connected to the internet as Iks (internet key sharing) is the only thing working other than true fta right now.

Default cnx and scrambled

hello : iks is conection threw dongle switch. yes it needs to be connected via ethernet cable cat 5 or cat 6 cable at all times. continue connections.that is how it receives programing.your dish supplies the channels and your internet connects via server shared programing. hope that helped ya.turn to channels 100 and if you get the dish commercial channel then you are on. once applied the ix-2oo dongle switch and it's set up in your box the channels will unscramble. good luck with your hobby.

If you have not already.Factory default receiver and load 8.06 factory file then the latest 1.28 file. Then setup receiver.

The Nano2 has a built in internet adapter. All other cnx's use the IX-200 dongle for internet connections.
All the free cnls are gone.No cnls 100,101 or ION etc...

If you follow the setup instructions.Skip the step about IKS registration. You do not have to do that.
