Thanks Ekim & one2 for the help. I am very familar with FTA. Had a
VS for a couple of years, and have DN basic for the wife. Everything is perfect, except, I can connect with the servers. Keep getting "error". I have all the channels, but except for true FTA's, getting scramble. I have tried different ports on the router and still can't get connected.
Any other ideas would be appreciated.
Again, thanks for the help and advice!!!!

Hey Gary, the Nano2 seems to be down for most at this time.I know cnx will come up with something to get the Nano2's running. The rest of the cnx's are working so hopefully the problem is small.DN scrambled the free cnls like 100,ION and the hd theater.

Thanks, I was offline for a while. I have been following these instructions, and I believe the problem is that the receiver and my computer are not communicating properly. The router (Netgear) has littlle documentation,so I can't be sure. I'm trying to learn more about it. Thanks for you continued help. it is most appreciated!!

Default more help

hello again gary : to reset your router, simply unplug all lines.on the back is a small hole reset button to push and hold for ten sec. then plug it all back in and turn it on. it should reboot and then locate all devices.cat 5 line to router from pc and cat 5 line to receiver from pc,unless you are running wireless. if you are running windows 7 or vista the wizard should install for you. open control panel and go to connect to and select found devices. sometimes resetting the router will help with connectivity.

Default set up and router

other than that gary,if you have it all set correctly leave it alone. there seems to be a problem with all nano 2 only.
