You don't need to register the box for it to work. I know many ppl, including myself, never register and works fine. The IKS registration feature was a security protocol when it first came out, but is no longer needed to watch TV.The nano2 is not on the same server as the other cnx models.Because there is no set fix and people are affected (new and existing users) by this its best to leave it on a working channel and not mess up your stb.

True the receiver will work either way.But is it just the ones working that will work either way.The new receivers now that are not working can't register.
