Hi...I have a CoolSat 7000 and am hoping to enlist a little help if possible; it keeps scrambling and this time the Flash Drive window won't come up to load the new Fix (started this when I tried to load Vers.194..). It has been scrambling a lot; even the same day I loaded a new Fix on, it will work a while then start scrambling about every 15" or so and usually u can shut it off at back and reboot and will work for a while. Then a few days ago, I tried to load the 195 Fix and it wouldn't bring up the download window when I put the flash drive into the USB. So, I did the factory reset to defaults that you suggested, and it loaded back up 110 & 119 satellites and then I did channels search and reloaded the channels, local channels, etc. and then tried to load Vers.195 with my flash drive and it still won't boot up to the flash drive window when I insert it in the USB. Don't understand, since it always pulled the flash drive contents right up when I inserted the flash drive previously. Now it is coming on for a 30-60 seconds and then scrambling. Any suggestions on what the problemm is, or how to get it to recognize my flash drive again? Thank so much for any recommendations or suggestions to try...I'd really appreciate it!

Maybe your flash drive needs to be formatted to FAT 32

Plug USB stick into pc
Open my computer
There should be a new icon under the removable storage section (drive letter) mines J: yours may be different
Right click it and select format
A new box should open up for formatting
Click on where it says FAT and select FAT32
Hit start

It may help if your not sure to open up my computer first and check the drive letters and watch for the new 1 .

The freezing should be fixed once you download the new fix.
