what wrong with the coolsat 4000 file

I have a coolsat 4000 when i download the file I unzip the file before I loaded it in the receive. I check my keys but still no program nother but scramble channel. It was working good.

Are you trying to watch dish or bev? How is your signal?

Set the auto roll to ON and wait for about 10 min on channel 200 and it should work.

I'm watching dish \, my signal is 98% and my keys are right still nothing but scramble channels. It was working fine before we made the wish.

It should be working, you can try to do a factory reset and rescan the channels. Or even better load a factory file then the last fix, setup your dish settings and scan the satellites.

I did everthing to the receiver but still nothing but scramble channel.when we change over that when it with bad. Bin 187 scramble channels. My other one work fine just my coolsat 4000.

I know you were asked this before but where is your dish pointed.Please tell us whats satellites your dish is aimed at.Your coolsat should be working on DN only not B3V 82.0W or 91.0W sats.

I found a couple of things you can try.


1.First,hook your box to computer then open loader>click channel>click to computer>click to browse and type the name of the file you to save>click save.After you done close loader.
Second,open menu>system setting>database reset>enter your pin#>factory reset OK.
Third,go to menu and reset all your setting and scan SAT119,after scan done>exit out and go to channel 140 (ESPN) and wait for picture .it should took less than 15 minutes for picture to come up (don't forget to turn your auto roll ON).
Last>when you get picture>you can scan for other sat or redown your old channel list you just save.

2.press mute then exit
you will see KEY Edit
move with arrows to 79 box
if yo see both keys it is ok but if you see only one it is the problem
go down with arrow stop in the box it has 00 (cas Ident) put 10 and the put manualy
the key C3 F9 8A 0A 7D D9 2C D1
then go to teh next 00 (cas Ident) put 11 and then put manualy
the key 46 A2 CA 88 96 5B 03 DF

in the cases 20 and 21 are the active key

20 D6 F3 D1 D4 8D 36 F4 5D
21 F5 8D F2 38 95 E9 6C 85

go at the top then go to Box 78 and it must see the key active 106 key at the place CAS Ident 20 and 21

then push exit an mute again

It is freezing not to much but i'm seen TV.
