Default Help with Quality signal !!

Need info, have a motorized dish setup so only one sat at a time, with two Sonicview 360 Elite receivers, need to know why I can get strength signals in mid 70's but no quality signal at all. I have reset the dish four or five times now but still cannot get the signal.

Have a 33" dish with invacom quad LNB, ran two cables from L and C connections on LNB to a 3x4 switch and then out to the receivers. I have loaded the latest file for the receivers but is there any more software I should have loaded.

If anyone can help I would appreciate it.

hello : ok, first do you have your satellites ( birds ) located properly ?ok so you have it to a switch . what is its name ? now in menu under set-up satellite there is a selection named diseqc mode.. select diseqc 1 port 21/34. and with diseqc option select witch port you what to pull in .such as what satellite is under what port. then repost back and we will go from there.let us only connect to the circular outlets for d*sh signals birds 110 and 119 & 91 for bev.. and do you have the i hub doggle swtich ?

trying to setup on Galaxy 10 @ 123.0W, this was recommended as I can only work with FTA at the moment. iHub doggle is on order should arrive this week! Am using a 3 x 4 multi-switch not a diseqc switch. Should I be using a diseqc switch? The quality signals seem to be completely absent from the setup.
Thanks for the reply.....

yes, use a diseqc switch or a sw21 switch. those you get in the store aren't worth diddy.they have wrong dicimal. should be frequency range 950-2400 mhz.if you are going fta then yes the linear feed is what you what on your lnb.try lnb straight to your stb and check strength and quaility.remember in your set up the lnb and port.

Smile this FTA PRO LISTED

F3 118.8W is a C band sat now. This is a c/p that i found and it worked for this guy.

c/p

using a cs4000 receiver and my 10 BUD with twin lnbs.

i hooked to the KU lnb and located 118.8...
then i disconnected and hooked to the CBAND lnb.

i went to my sat menu and created a new sat postion
and called it 118.8/AF3/CB.....

i then went to the transponder menu and added the TP found in the reply from, ELPALO.

TP 3920 H... s/r 18446

the signal beeper on my 4k started screaming and the greenbars shot over 90 S & Q.
(very strong signal here in s.c.)

scanned that TP only, and the channels are there..
