True free to air(FTA)channels that never go down by providers at 123w KU
FTA=free to air.

Free to air channels are very fun to have,though not many of them are premiums and such,there still very interesting and enjoyable to have.These FTA channels remain up at all times and are not attacked by ecm’s as These channels are not encrypted.

A great starting point is 123w-G10r.

This bird requires a minimum of a 30″ dish.(depending on your location,it may be larger).

Use the map to get your DBW strength,and the corresponding chart to the right to determine the dish size required.

You will also need a linear lnb.

Note the band info to the right.Scroll down to KU band.(the C band requires a large 6 foot to 12 foot dish,C band is another topic).

As you can see there are some Foreign channels but most are English.We will focus on the English.

Another true FTA sat is 97 W. No premium or PPV channels but there is a few channels that are watchable and never go down. Something to keep in mind as we might have some time down. Some tv is better then no tv.

so what would be the lnb frequency and tp frequency then if a guy was to see if that sat works

The sat provider is called Globecast. Mostly International channels on it but it's kinda tricky to get, very weak signal. You can got to their official site and see the channel line up and decide if you like it or not. Not the easiest bird to get and i am speaking from personal experience.

I've put up anextra dish I had and tied it into my d1000's ex port. I'm getting good S but Q jumps from blank to 67, never staying on any number more than a sec. The settings I got from sodaun had skew reading which I don't have on my fixed dish. Do you think I need dif equip. thanks

Can you give us the exact equipment description, what size dish, what kind of LNB etc. so we can better assist you.
