Post Looking for International Channels?

I found this some where else and c/p

Good afternoon all!!!
It has come to my attention that their are a lot of people out there that are wondering why their international channels are not working, well this is due to n3, which is the new encription stlye being implemented by DN and BEV at the moment. Sorry, with those providers, those international channels are black and many more to follow, now that doesn't mean they will be gone forever, but for now and until the amazingly great coders figure out the situation, that is the way it is.
This does not mean you cannot get the international channels you want, with a little reading aperson can learn a lot. After all these stb's we all use, are designed for true free to air, that is partially what makes them legal to sell and buy!!!
Right now i'm going to give my settings From my sonicview 360 Elite for one of the true free to air sats I like to test, it is called Intelsat AM5 @ 97w. In order to recieve this sat you will need a 30” dish or bigger and a linear lnb, standard or universal does'nt matter, I use a standard linear. This sat has a ton of good international channels you will all like with a wide variety of nationalities. When you first try to find this sat, you will need to imput your settings, they should be close to this depending on your lnb type and stb you use, but should be close to this:

Sat ---------------- Intelsat AM5 [ 97w ]
Connection ------ Seperate
Lnb Type -------- Single / Standard
Lnb Freq -------- 10750
22 Khz ----------- Off
Lnb Power ------ On
Transponder ----- 11898
Search ----------- Fta or all
Network Search – On
DisqC ------------ Port 4, Thats what i use but you put whatever port you have dish going too!!
Motor ------------ Disable
Legacy Switch -- Off

Here are a few transponders that i get good quality on to help in your searching, I mainly like to use 11898, due to this one being the strongest in my area and i get the best quality from it, remember, if your looking for a sat, you need to have it set to a tp that has quality, and if your using a stationary dish, without a motor, you will need to skew the lnb just a little, which means turn the lnb in it's holder, in my area it's about at a Quarter to a half inch, if not you will be looking forever and wont be able to find a signal!!

FREQ Symbol Polarity Fec
11789 25000 V 3/4
11836 20765 V 2/3
11867 22000 V 3/4
11874 22000 H 3/4
11898 22000 V 3/4 Use this one for searching
11929 22000 V 3/4
11991 22000 V 3/4
12053 22000 V 3/4
12152 22000 H 3/4
12177 23000 V 2/3

Here is a list of some (not all) of the channels you can see for free on this sat, by free I mean you do not need a subscription, no third party software is needed!!!
