Post

you mite have to do a Factory deafult and load up new factory fix then load in latest bin fix reset setting and rescan sats and try the iHub again,,,I'm not real for sure but never hurts to do a factory default and reset it all up again, remeber ur settings as you will need to put them back in after doing a default

you tried this rite ? or maybe the server can be down?

1. Load bin ( over current file if not virgin reciever)

2. Plug dongle

3. U will see prompt that dongle connecting (can take up to 30 secs)

4. Click menu-installation-ipconfig

5. Setting type DHCP

6. USE DNS YES

7. Domain name svftaiks.com

8. Server port 1920

9. PUT IN YOUR SERIAL NUMBER BE CAREFUL THE LETTERS ARE VERY SMALL

Entering serial number for iHub

The serial number for the iHub as well as many electronic devices is in hexidecimal. Hexidecimal (commonly referred to simply as "Hex") only has 16 characters. They are the digits 0 through 9 and the letters A through F. If you look at the serial number for your iHub you will notice the letters are small lower case letters and may be hard to read. For instance the letter "e" may look like a letter "o" with a slash through the middle but trust me it is an "e". When you go to the setup screen for entering the serial number look at the bottom of your screen and you will see a key for which remote buttons to use for the letters. Now just simply enter them and save and you are done

Use the PVR control buttons
there is a guide at bottom of serial # page that tells you
rewind button=A
play button=B
fast forward button=C
stop button=D
arrow right button=E
pause button=F

10. Go to apply and click OK (don’t exit or it wont save you must click apply)

That’s it watch tv

Here this mite getcha going!!!

iHub, how to get it re-talking to the I-net ......by-putski- 2009.06.10

This assumes that you have a operating DSL internet, and the hub is connected to the receiver and internet. The receiver has the current iHub software (.rom) installed. The iHub has been working, but it is no longer. This is what you need to do.
First with all power off, connect the hub to the receiver and internet connection.
Power up in sequence, the internet (modem and router), then the receiver.
After the receiver boots, then with remote goto Menu - Installation - IP Config
The header should say "User options"
Setup should match this post; http://www.ftaprofessionals.tv/sonicview-360-elite-instructions/4255-sonicview-ihub-configuration-set-up-instructions.html
Setting type DHCP - USE DNS YES - Domain name svftaiks.com - Server port 1920 - PUT IN YOUR iHUB's SERIAL NUMBER BE CAREFUL THE LETTERS ARE VERY SMALL
Now just simply enter them and Go to "Apply", click "OK".
Once above is done; Go to

"Setting Type" field and change to "Static" (this will allow you to access these fields);
Change the "Local IP" field to all zeros (000.00.0.0)
Change the "Local port" field to all zeros (0000)
Change the "Subnet" field to all zeros (000.000.000.0)
Change the "Gateway" field to all zeros (000.000.0.0)
Go to "Apply", click "OK

Now go to "Setting Type" field and change to "Static"
Go to "Apply", click "OK
Exit out.
The receiver should now be receiving and decoding the channels that are currently listed in the iHub list.
If not receiving, then; Power up in sequence, the internet (modem and router), then the receiver.
After the receiver boots, then with remote goto Menu - Installation - IP Config
The header should say "User options"
The fields previously with zeros should now have digits in them, if so, the hub/receiver is talking to the internet, if not check your internet equipment, and recheck the iHub setup.
