what is the best all around setup something that you think will be working for a while or be upgradeable with a reasonable price and good support and wher can i get it . some advice please ,couple options if possible

You didn't say for free but you did say reasonable price so I can't say subscribe to dn.LOL for best all around.This is just the way I see things.I would go with Conaxsat.You buy anything working today could be a door stop tomorrow.Knowing that I would still buy cnx.

That is a very hard question to answer, IKS stability changes all the time. Couple months ago everyone would agree NFusion was number 1 and most stable and shortly after that it went down and hasn't returned so far. I would agree overall Conaxsat has been very stable and i would recommend CNX but whatever brand you decide to buy don't spend to much money as it can be useless in a few weeks or even days.

yup no doubt, the way the IKS has been going, you never know if you bought a instant door stop,, even b4 you get it delivered to ur door step..

so that's a chance a Tester takes!

it's a Gamble! one or the other, but if you have a couple of Different stb units, then you mite have a back sub then!
