How to Test a 8PSK Module - Is it working?

There have been a number of threads where the poster does not know whether their 8PSK module works or not.

To try the module out do the following:
1: Set your receiver for external module.
2: Then power your receiver off.
3: Remove your loop out line
4: Put your sat line into the module input.
5: Power back up
6: See if you are receiving both SD and HD
7: When done reset to internal module, power off and reinstall loop out line.

You can get both SD and HD running your line into the module. You will also find that the breakup in the display also happens in SD through the module, but then the purpose of this test is to just try out the module and the hook up for it. Hopefully this will help some of you.
