Default WIRELESS Routers and Wireless Bridges for IKS

IF you are RUNNING A WIRELESS IKS, Please post your Router and Wireless BRIDGE, AKA: Wireless gaming adaptor, AKA Wireless Eithernet Client, Please post the Manufacture/Model and any other pertanent information that would help. Updated 2009.09.05

Router: Westell VersaLink Model 327W DSL Router
Bridge: 2wire Ethernet Client,
Setup: Hook up to your 2wire Ethernet Client to the router w/ethernet cable, start the setup software, Password = (blank), Password=Password, enter the name of your network, go advanced enter the MAC address (if used), save and exit.

now why would you want to do that? if i have an open network and you were my neighbor you would be stealing my internet. Not because it's open doesn't mean it's free.

Mine is Blocked just for that reason...

and if you live in the city and the coffee shop down the street has Open WIFI why not use it?

the cheapest wireless router to use as bridge is the NETGEAR WGR614 v6. It is $20 @ tigerdirect(compUSA). Flash dd-wrt and setup as client, repeater, repeater bridge or client bridge will work with any receiver wirelessly.

And that is the reason ppl should protect their routers with passwords so nobody can steal their internet but that's really not our business how ppl connect to it.Everybody in fta hobby is stealing satellite signal anyways, not much difference between stealing internet signal if you have neighbors that allow you to do so.
