Has anyone heard anything about this yet?

I was looking for new files after my SV HD8000 stopped working (just before 2 AM EST) and ran across this subject posted at other site.

My receiver just started working again...finally (2:20 AM).

I downloaded their file, opened it, and found that their are 10 different bin files in it.

I don't know which bin file to use, whether I can, or even need to use one of them.

Will this apply to my ihub?

Maybe one of our moderators can check into this scenario?

Do not use that file, that file is not for Sonicview it's only to be used with Sonysat receivers.

Like Fta Pro said the X2 Dongle is not for Sonicview.The reason there is more than 1 bin is so you can run more than 1 receiver off your internet connection.Each bin has its own unique MAC address needed for each receiver used.

This Receiver is making allot of buzz on the net as a stable IKS solution for both DN and BEV. Don’t know how long been around. Also made in Korea (surprise as now they are not using Vaseline) Kbox and Nf down and other solutions from other companies up even though Dish legal rampage continues and now new receivers from Korea. Makes one wonder if all this IKS ECM was all bullshit to sell new receivers.

Sonysat is not that new it has been around for about 3 years now.The reason that lot of ppl didn't hear about is because it lagged support in the past and wasn't very stable. It has been running very good for the past few months and more and more ppl in fta community are talking about it.
