hi theres a new x-fta dongle on the net. has any body tryed or have one i ordered one i should have it in a week or two. it claims it works wiyh many out dated stbs and wiyh a lifetime iks regerstration.

nope never heard of this Dongle...

Not sure if this helps but from what I have read it brings alot of receivers that no longer work back to life. It is a wireless router that hooks up to a private server with lifetime support for North American users. I myself will wait and see how it works out and what the reviews are on it but who knows it may be the next step for iks users if the programs are more stable than what they are now.

why cant you get the ihub to work with ur sv 8000?

i messed with sv8000 an ihub for 2 weeks i guess i dont no the right settings. i loaded new factory bin new 506bin an dont go to ip setup then wait on any iks chs. for 6 hours stell nothing i have used all kinds of dns that i got off another file site. i went an bought a cnx nano2 it figured out all that settings for me so easy a cave man can do it. yea i want help for my sv8000 but its painfull. thank u i hope posted this in the right place

I have had a lot of problems with my sv8000 and found the best results to be is to load the 1.9 for the ihub and put in the May 1 dongle update. Leave the settings for the ihub the same as they originally were with the original settings you got off of here. You don't get alot of channels but you get some. I sometimes do what you do though and just take a break from it if it gets to be a bit to annoying and come back to it after awhile.
