I would like to know if having a IKS reciever hooked up to my Air card internet would add much to my bill. I am charged by the amount I use after my base amount.

IKS receivers use very little bandwidth.I am not sure how you are being charged.

using a air card for iks. receivers have to have a constant internet connection to receive data and server feeds. the channels are received by your satellite dish.by using your card as a way to keep the service connection active you will be charged air time. depends on how much air time costs you. you can use this connection .how much will it costs you ? air time costs money.
