To record a program you are currently watching, simply press the button with the RED DOT. Press the Stop button if you wish to stop recording. TO SET UP A RECORDING

Open the guide. Hi-lite the program you wish to record. Press OK twice and a red dot will appear. The receiver will automatically go to this program and start recording when it is time for the program to come on. When the program is over, the receiver will stop recording.
If you decide you do not wish to record this program after you set it to record, just go back to it in the guide and press OK again and the red dot will go away.
