As we know, Bev has changed their method of encryption (scrambling) to N3 for their channels and the vast majority of people using FTA receivers to view that programming can no longer view it. And DN is in the process of switching theirs over to N3 as well, which will result in not being able to watch their programming.

As with Bev, this will be a gradual change. DN has started with the international channels, and will gradually be phased in on other blocks of programming. Once these channels are changed over, there will be a time that these channels are not accessible. Hopefully it will not be too long before the various code teams have found a solution to this.

Rest assured, when a solution is found and the programming becomes available, it will be posted on this site. There is no need to repeatedly ask what happened and when will they be back. The timeline for this is unknown.

What is N3? That is short for Nagravision 3. A security measure employed by several pay satellite companies to prevent the unauthorized viewing of their programming.
