Thats what I thought about direct tv.They went to n3 about 4 years ago and As far as I can tell they are still down. Hopefully fta hackers are better than the ones who were hacking direct tv. I took you guys advice and subscribed to dish network. I get everything [i] need except I dont like paying for movies .

DTV uses different encryption then DN and yes you are right once they changed their encryption there was no hack for it. DTV testing was done using cards and original DTV receivers so it's little different the fta. Last time DN changed encryption from N1 to N2 it took about 2 months for new files to come out, this time might even take longer but we will see.

What is the difference in dish and bev?
Do they use the same equipment? Can I get bev with my pansat 3500?

the difference is d!sh is from the USA sats most watched is 110 119 and then you have ur HD sats,,,and Bev has Canadian sat 91 Ku Nimiq and they have an HD sat as well

and no you cant use ur pansat 3500,,,all that reciever is good for is TRUE FTA sat 123 but you will need a 30inch or bigger sat with a Ku band lnb

i will like to know what is iks(internet key sharing) pls.

IKS is basicaly when every one go's off from another paid subscription and there all sharing the same card, thru the (IKS)

DN is American and BEV is Canadian sat provider. They use the same encryption N3 so you can't watch either one of them at present time with stand alone receivers such as Pansat.
