Recently I bought a nfusion PHOENIX to replace SV 4000. I just remove old unit and connect new one. I scanned satellite and connect internet from my modem to the back of receiver. I tried connecting to internet but is unable to do so. I must me something that I am not it right or something I am missing. I need help to set up this unit properly. Thanks

Have you loaded latest fix for your receiver?If not click link below to go to the fix.Load it then reboot receiver and then go into receiver menu and check internet for IP's.Let us know.

to be honest with you I am lost on this one. I am just getting to know this unit, and I have been told that the only thing I need to do is connect the receiver to dish and cable internet to modem and should be ready to go go. Any ways to load this file you mention, can you please give a little more info in how to do it.

Don't worry you'll get it.Receiver company's cannot sell a receiver ready to go or they will go to jail and pay millions.

Connect your receiver to your pc with the null serial cable you got with your receiver.Open loader click on open file and then find your fix.Then highlight it and then click open.Then a different window will popup follow promt the with the receiver on in the back turn on front power and that shoul start download.Wait till receiver finishes and show a channel number.

I just did what you recommended, but for some reason I got a flashing screen that show service not available.

I am connecting my internet cable direct to the unit from the modem to test it, but still not programming.

looks like communication between internet line and receiver is not set up proper way

morlaco after you have made those changes reboot the receiver from the back, if that does not work. Are you getting ip add's in the receivers menu under internet?
