how to get rid of 55 search engine
We have windows xp on our computer , and recent have a toolbar/search engine called 55 search engines.
Can not figure out who to get this off of my computer.
Did web search on how to remove it without luck. When I go into the control panel to find the program it is not there.
It is slowing down my computer but my avg anti virus and malware bytes scan do not show any infections.
Does anyone else have this problem and how can I get rid of this damn thing
Any help would be apreciated

f you want to stop the service from running, you can open up Services through Control Panel, or type in services.msc into the Start Menu search box. Once you’re there, you can find Windows Search in the list and click the Stop button.
We wouldn’t recommend disabling the service—you can simply uninstall it if you don’t want it.
