**SV8000HD Mpeg4 Conversion!**

Ok People, it appears there is FINALLY a way for you to convert your Mpeg4 HD videos to vcd, dvd, blu-ray etc..

Convert "trp" files (MPEG 4 1080i),

Programs needed:

1- H264TS_Cutter - Free (Google It)
2- Nero Vision 5 or Nero Vision 4

Additional programs (needed for H264_Cutter):

1- Net 2.0 Framework (Microsoft)
2- DirectX 9.c (August 2007 Release) (Microsoft)
3- AVC / H264 DirectShow Decoder
4- TS-Splitter (Haali Media Splitter is recommended) (Attached To Post)

After installing all your programs, download to your HD the "trp" files created by the SV-HD8000. The files ending in .00x must be renamed to ".trp".
Open H264TS_Cutter, then TOOLS>Convert TRP/REC to TS.
After creating your new "ts" files load them in Nero Vision 5. Then you can create DVD's, HD DVD's, Blu_Ray, or mini HD DVD*.
This new Nero 8 program have a new feature where you can store HD material in a regular DVD. About 30 mins in a single layer or 60 min in a double layer (this mini HD DVD's are only playble in HD DVD players, sorry not in BLU-Ray players).
This "ts" files cannot be re-encoded with ConvertXtoDVD or VideoREDO...

Update: You can now use ConvertXtoDVD 3 to burn the .ts files to dvd!
