Default NewLink Setup

c/p from dssturk

OK basically the same but different, let me explain

The Newlink loads both Bin for stb and file for Newlink Via USB
So DL the Bin for you STB and Unzip, copy to USB
Do the same for the 1.2 for Newlink, copy to USB, Plug USB into REC>(do not connect Newlink yet or you may get a UD Error.)
Power on, update your Stb with Current Bin
Careful Here, Their Naming Convention is Foolish. Bins for Elite and 8000HD are E# and for the Premier they are 206, 207 ect. (their was already and Issue where some here loaded the 416 on his Elite and messed it up. That file has since been pulled.
Load Bin just like you would with Ihub, SW/Receiver update
Now Connect Newlink to you STB and Connect Cat5 to Newlink.
Next load the 1.2 file to Newlink the same way. "Again caution here" The 8000HD and Elite you just choose SW/Receiver update but from what I read the Premier says you load it like a channel List.
when updates are done Power down from rear sw, connect cat5 and power on. If you get Adaptor Connect you have Success

Hope this helps, It's the most I could gather in a short time.
Will update as nesessary.
Enjoy
