My sonic view 4000 shuts off by itself, pops up single digit numbers on reciever then shuts off, please help !!!

Do a hard boot OFF and ON via rear switch.

I tried that,sometimes it works, sometimes not. I can leave it turned off for a while then it will work, then it will pop up a single digit number on receiver then shut down?

Yeah that happens sometimes on Sonicview receivers but it shouldn't be that often. Usually hard boot fixes the issue, it's just a minor glitch is some of the SV fixes.

My sonic view 4000 is still shutting off after popping up single digit numbers.I tried a hard reboot, did not help, tried a factory reset, didn't help, if anyone can help me I would be greatfully thankful.

It wil not let me do that, when I try it pops up boot, then pops up a single digit number again then shuts off.

Try factory reset then load system clean file and the latest fix. After that set up your receiver and rescan. Here is the link to system clean file, if usb stick doesn't work use the null cable to load the file.
