Sonicview 1000 - dead in the water ..

I went through the factory default option mult times .. i removed the old code using the SV1000_SysCleanFile ... loaded the Sonicview 1000 Fix Jan.08.2009 ... I scanned/rescanned the sat. Rebooted using the switch at the back of the receiver mult times ... still no luck... Please advise ; Thx .

Try loading factory file and then the latest file after that. Try this file Sonicview 1000 Factory Firmware V0222

If you did not load factory file after the clean system file do so.Then latest fix.Setup your sats and rescan.

Default Still looking for help...

My SV1000 boxes are still not working ... i'm getting " Please wait for update" ...
I went through the factory default option .. i removed the old code using the SV1000_SysCleanFile ...loaded factory file and the Sonicview 1000 Fix Jan.08.2009 ... I scanned/rescanned the sats ( DirecTv 1R/2, EchoStar 6,8 EchoStar1,2, and Nimiq1,3) . Rebooted using the back switch mult times ... still no luck...

It should be working for the EchoStar satellites and the other two will not work.

How is your signal and quality ?

Can you view the free channels such as nasa or channel 100 or 500 ?

Is your auto roll on?

On your remote control press the "SAT" button and pick echo package.

- signal and quality are v good . (Q:85-90, S:67-75)
-the only channels i can view are Lock 371, ALERT 372 .. ( no luck with nasa, ch100 or 500-CNN)
- auto roll is on ..

Default

67 -75 signal is low but it should work for many channels. If you can try to move the dish a little so that you have minimum 85% signal.

Channel 100 or 500 are free channels and should work all the time if you have good signal.

Sounds to me like your dish settings are wrong.

Can please post your dish settings and let us know which dish and switch are you using.

Legacy Switch SW 21 LNB1 / SW21 LNB2 ( OFF)

I've been using a D500 Dual DP-LNB"
Dish 500 Dual DP LNB with a Diseqc Switch 4x1...

If you did load factory file already there is no need to do again.Lets try this, do factory reset and once done scan only 110W end exit. Set up your settings, time zone etc. make sure your ports are set up right. After you are done tune into a channel that is on 110W and let it sit for a few min and see if the keys are going to roll. Also make sure your Auto Roll option is ON. If that works do the same thing for the other sat.Let us know if that worked for you.

DISH 110
Sat Name: Echostar 6.8
Transponder: 12224
LNB Type: Standard (if using Legacy), OCS-DP (if using Dish Pro)
LNB Freq: 11250
