ok go into Menu do you have a system settings ?

if you do then go into user options and there you should see, sort by SID

i will go and see if i can find as ettup so I can see what it looks like. and maybe I'll be able to help you out

Okay, I found it. It's under the User's Options. The SID option was off so I turned it on and then I could see that Channel 100 was the HOME channel, although I still can't get it. I'm not getting anything that I can tell.

have you ever done a Factory default bfore?
and load it all up new again?
reset settings back up and scan ur sats again
some times it need to be done to get rid of bugs.

but i'm thinking you are missing some thing in ur settiings for it not to work

We have a 1000.2. The sats are Echostar 7, 8, & 11. Set up: OCS-DP; 11250; off; on; 12224; all; on; port 2, 1; disable; off. We had Echostar 5 also but we have some sort of issue with our 8psk module going on. We sent it in and it checked out fine, but it doesn't want to work in our receiver. We were going to send the receiver in prior to N3 changeover, but haven't done it yet. After we got the ihub, we discovered that if we switched to the internal tuner, we could get channels so that's what we've been doing. We have been having lots and lots of freezing of channels, so this morning when I saw the "new fix", I had hoped it would fix our problems, but instead it's now worse. As far as I know, we don't get any channels now.

ok go into menu setup and go to sat 7 and on where it says tp change it to 12239 port 1 and on sat 8 & 10 that stays on 1224 and try port 2

Ok, did that and am now able to get channel 100, but not sure about anything else. Should I rescan channels or hard boot, or something?

well if you rescan you will get double channels

do you have all ur channels up on ur guide?
if you do then ur channels are already there.
so then a hardboot wouldnt hurt either

You have to make sure your ports are ON port 1 for 119 and port 2 for 110 or vice versa depending on your LNB's. Sort by SID should always be on and your time zone should be set up correctly, also auto roll option should always be on and make sure you load the latest hub bin for your receiver which is not working all that great right now a lot of freezing but it's only beta file. As far the Sat info file goes you don't need it as it is for 82W BEV bird which you are not using.

I don't know how the settings have gotten changed, but I kind of liken this whole FTA thing as being sort of finicky.....like a woman. (even though I am one)

I show lots of channels on the guide, but not able to access very many. They seem to change throughout the day?! I will continue to do hard boots whenever I just can't stand the freezing any more. Sometimes it helps, and sometimes it doesn't. I'll sure be happy when they move on to something other than BETA .
