Question sv 8000 hd

Is anyone getting hd programing?.... I can't get them or do I need another receiver

Yes the sv8000hd will get some hd's when they are working.Or said that hd cnl is working for sv.

Default 8000hd

I'm having a hard time scaning hd channels. I'm getting only 16 when I scan 129 any suggestion on what I'm doing wrong

Press the Menu Key
Select the Install Menu
Use your Up and Down arrow key and select External Module
The External Module should be "Detected"
Set Normal QPSK or 8PSK to "Built-in Tuner"
Press Exit



Your receiver should have the 8PSK board installed to receive hd's.
Is the 16 cnls working?

ok ... I dont have that board, is not showing those settings ... the external is not detected. I only have the external Q module and I can't see the 16 channels. which hd channels will I get if I buy that board... and thanks for the info

Without the 8PSK board you will not receive hd's.Below is a link to the current sv working cnl list.There is hd's on the list.Not sure which sats there on.
