Question Channel Master

I was looking through the files available for the HD8000.
There is no explanation as to what, why, or how to for the Channel Master file.
Can someone please fill me in?

Thanks

After you download cnl list from sv onto usb stick. Then take usb to pc and put it in the cnl master. In cnl master you can edit by adding or removing cnls. This will let you remove unwanted cnls. You can save your cnl data and load it in the receiver without scanning sat then or later if needed. All you need is to be locked on sats.

You can save several different cnl lists in folders so you can go back later and add cnls you had removed.

Cool.

I just started redoing my receiver cnls. First I deleted all my cnls, did a factory reset, installed the SV8KtpupFinal bin, and I'm now scanning cnls.
The first thing I noticed when setting up my satellites (110 W & 119W) was that the numbers have changed. 110W was Echostar 6,8 and I don't recall what it was for 119W. Also, I forgot to check my dish settings before the factory reset and now - 110W setup and scanned ok but now I'm having trouble with 119W.
I am getting signal for but no quality. As far as I know (before I reset) both satellites were working. Any ideas?

Menu does not have a transfer option under any of the headings. That was the first place I checked.
Also (since my reset and installing the SV8KtpupFinal bin), ALL SV displays are out of sync with the TV screen (too low) no matter which setting I use in the "AV settings" menu.
One more item, the mute button on my remote doesn't mute the SV's volume anymore (This started before my reset).

You may need to clean the receiver out with the system cleaner and the factory file.
