Default NEED HELP sv-360 premier ihub changing rooms

When I change rooms with my reciever, it won't recieve any channels. I have a wireless router located in my garage running lines through the house walls. I have changed the line to port 1 when I move the reciever and also checked the line for connectivity and it is fine. I am running dn recievers in both rooms and the cables running to the recievers are working on them fine. But when I replace the dn reciever with the sv-360, in the bedroom, it wont work. Just recently it won't even let me pull up (about 90% of the time) the ip config screen, it says"network adapter isn't ready" Please let me know what to try. Thanks

Your problem with the isn't ready is no internet.Reset your router then boot your receiver up.

I've tried that, but the funny thing is, it will also do that in the other room, but it recieves the channels fine.I can take the reciever back in the other room and do nothing to the router except change cable to port 1, and it will work fine.

So when you change rooms you change ports on router? If it works in one room unhook receiver and go to other room and also switch cable on router port that works in the other room so your using same port in either room.

That is exactly what I am doing. I am using port 1 on the router in both rooms.

I rebooted everything like you said, and still nothing. Wiznet wouldn't even find it. So I took the reciever back to the room that it works in and ran wiznet and it found it, but i wasn't getting any channels, so I pulled up ip config and noticed that it had changed the ip address last number from a 3 to a 4. Changed it back to a 3 and still nothing. So I changed the other numbers like you said to 8.8.8.8 and it started working fine. I then took the reciever back to the bedroom and hooked it up, rebooted router then reciever and nothing. Green light on and amber light flashing on ihub, but no channels. I then ran wiznet and it won't find the reciever, so I must have a network cable problem somewhere. Ekim, I am open for new ideas if you have any. Thanks for your help. Bill

Go with a wireless bridge in that 1 room or change cable.

Could the cat 5 wire be too long, because it is further away from the router than the room that is working.
