Default sv8000 hd with new ihub serial # wm setup

need help with new sv8000hd and ihub setup already tried the one form the forum do i have to put the serial # in if it has the letter wm in it?

i have been trying for hours to get a channel to come up dont know if its my ip config or what? Just need someone to help me with the setup and also how do u know if the server is up or down?

set local time and personal user settings
setup dish settings and scan sats

In ipconfig
private server NO
DHCP
your local ip assigned router
your subnet ip assigned router
your gateway ip assigned router
dns ip DHCP mode will assign this ip.
my retry timeout 8 works for me

reboot on supported cnl and wait or try other cnls.Look at the ihub amber light for frequent blinks.No blinks change cnl.

well my SV8000 is currently turned off and I just had the Tranponder settings
updated on the Receiver ,so that when the New Echostar 14 arrives at the 119 orbital spot ,its expected to provide a very strong signal even through
Rainy conditions and at the same time the old Echostar 7 will disapear .

Also remember that the Echostar 10 is going to replace the Echostar 8 at the 110 and it will be necessary to update the new transponders to have the channels working .

as far as i can tell everything should be good just get no service or scrambled

Do you get "network adapter connect" message on tv after reboot?

Did you try changing cnls and look at the amber/yellow light on the ihub for fast blinks?You need to let it set on one of those cnls and wait.Or try another.
