hey anyone know if i can get any indian programming,i have a dish 500 and vs ultra.

You are right EKIM. 61.5 is an excellent source for indian programming but I just learned that Dxxh Nxt is currently phasing out this Sat and putting this programming on Sat 118.8W or sat 121....Have you heard anything on this?....

lyngsat.com is a good source to see what is on sats.It has freq's and you can SID channels.

lyngsat.com is a good source. I am familiar with it but it does not list 118.8w in its sat list.....but from another source I did find that there is a sat 118.8w. Besides I don't know how to SID a channel.Anyhow its a wait and see.....thanks

i have scanned 110 and 119 but when i try to scan 61.5 i don't get any indian programming.is this because i can only have two sats on my dish 500.anyone help plz?

61.5 is too far away from 110 and 119. Besides you can't have 3 sats on d 500. You need to (a) install a separate dish 18" or 500 to scan in this sat or (b) you may install a super dish...this will scan in all three sats...not an easy job if you are not quite familiar because the indian channels are also on 118.8w sat also........if I were you, I will just put up the other dish...a much easier job.....good luck
