Question upgrade options?

with vs 2000 ultra (dish 500 w/legacy twin lnb) working well (looking @ echo 7 & echo 10,11) What could I do to upgrade? I've read about reservations to jump to a HD untill N-3 pans out.
does a quad lnb help do anything more than allow multiple recievers?

The only thing right now to upgrade would be to look into some true fta sat's. 123 W would be your best bet, nice thing about true fta it's always up and will not be effected by N3. We might have some down time once N3 switch is made so this would be a good back up. You would need extra equipment though to get that sat. Here is a link to all available sat's in North America. Dish & LNB requirements for each North American satellite

Galaxy 10 Ku-band (123w)
Dish: 30" (1.2m Hawaii/Canada/Carribbean)
LNB: Linear

I have an old dish (30") with a single lnb, can I use that? What hardware do I need for multiple dishes? Where is 123w if I'm @ 40324?
thanks!

Cool you are all set then. All you have to do is find the sat which will be tricky, so take your time and be patient. You will be glad to have true fta sat during ECM's. Good luck.
