I have a Viewsat Ultra Rec. What is the best way to scan satellites 119 and 110? At one time when I scan using auto scan I will alway get all the chennals but now is a diff story. I try auto and advance scan and I always be missing lots of channels mosty PPV and movie channels. I try blind scan and I get the same thing plus alot of double channels. I also have a Pansat 2500a and I do a blind scan on V channels and I get all the channel and no doubles. Please help, how should I scan my Viewsat Ultra Satellites?

the best way is to scan one sat at a time,,,now to get rid of dups I myself just do a channel edit and delete them all and then rescan each sat one at a time,,,blind scan sometimes finds extra channel but also gets a bunch of dups. or if all else fails do a Factory default and reload it all up again,,,as in reload factory then reload new fix and.. reset all settings then scan ur birds again one at a time... hope this help you out...Peace
