Insert USB in receiver

MENU > SYSTEM INFORMATION > RECEIVER UPGRADE > USB > PRESS OK

PRESS F1(RED) on remote and a copy of the channel info is saved on the USB (example... channel 00200.cha)

PRESS F2 (GREEN) on remote and a copy of satinfo is saved on the USB (example... satellite 000130.sat)

This process is meant to keep a copy of your Chaninfo & Satinfo as a backup...

Chaninfo file can be loaded back to receiver if you did a factory default... it restores your channel lineup and Favorites that you have programmed.

BUT... DO NOT load these two files (Chaninfo + Satinfo) to other Viewsat Models! ( VS ULTRA uses a little different format!)

You should do a new scan some TP's changed on sat 119 few months ago, you are probably missing some channels.

You can try downloading it using a null modem cable if the USB stick is not working for you.
